Beyond the reef

Big-game fishing

An offshore trip, half a day or a full day, arranged in detail before departure.

Duration
5 or 8 hours
Departure
Rivière Banane
Conditions
Sea permitting
The rocky headland at Rivière Banane and the shallow turquoise water of the Rodrigues lagoon

The open sea, when the sea allows it.

Crossing the reef changes everything: the swell, the light, the silence. It is a more demanding outing than the others, and it is prepared as such.

The format, the boat, the timing, the number of people and what is included are all confirmed clearly before departure. Nothing is left to “we'll see when we get there”.

As everywhere else at Otentika, the weather decides. An offshore trip is never forced.
