The Table
A house that opensonto the lagoon.
You eat under the casuarinas, a few metres from the water, on checked tablecloths. The dishes arrive in the middle and everyone helps themselves.

What is served
Otentika's cooking is the family's own: fish grilled over wood, octopus in salad or grilled, vegetables and herbs from the garden, rice, achards, chilli for those who want it.
The menu is not fixed. It depends on what the sea gave that morning and on what was ready in the garden. It is a constraint, and it is also what makes it different from a printed menu.
What it is not
It is not a restaurant with continuous service and a menu card. You do not drop in unannounced: the meal is prepared because we know you are coming, and how many of you there are.
Nor is it fine dining. The value lies elsewhere: in how fresh the produce is, in the setting, and in being received in someone's home.
Diets and allergies
Mention them when you write. Family cooking adapts more easily than a menu card, provided it is told in advance.

Frequently asked
Can we come just for the meal?
Yes. The Table can be booked on its own, as long as you give enough notice for the meal to be prepared.
Is there a menu with prices?
No. The meal is put together from the catch and the garden, and Westley confirms the rate before you come.
Can we come as a family with children?
Yes. It is a family table, and children belong at it.
No prices are listed: every visit is arranged with Westley.
